The Mancelona Torch picked up a win at Waterfall Park, knocking off the Niagara Falls Expos, 7-4. Starting pitcher Jonathan Stewart played a key role in the triumph. The win has Mancelona at 30-52.

Mancelona used a well-timed hit by Harry Kofmeister to capture the win. The shortstop socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Torch ahead, 5-4. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"We'll put that win in the can," said Stewart, "and go after the next one."
