The Chicago Tula defeated the Niagara Falls Expos, 8-2, at Waterfall Park today. Leading the charge for Chicago was center fielder Ramón Galló. He went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Reliever Darien Chalmers picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. Mauro Ramos took the loss. Chicago raised its record to 53-24 with the win.

Chicago used the clutch hitting of Yoshihide Sato to snag the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Tula ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Galló said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
