Gutiérrez Too Much for Torch in 6-1 Niagara Falls Win
Alejandro Gutiérrez was outstanding against Mancelona. The right-hander, who is rated as the 68th best prospect by BNN, had a sinker that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Expos 6-1 win. The 10th-place Expos now have a 4-game winning streak.

Gutiérrez, who dominated for Niagara Falls, earned the victory to move to 3-5. He was in control the whole game, scattering 3 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 10. Mancelona batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"Alejandro was pounding the zone," said Niagara Falls manager Mackenzie Bolen.
