Expos Beat Herons, 4-2
|
Niagara Falls pitcher David García did his part in helping his team beat the Holy City Herons, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The win gives the Expos a record of 17-34.
Nikolaj Molnar had an important at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the second, when he hit a run-scoring triple. His 2nd triple of the season put Niagara Falls on top, 1-0.
"David -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Expos manager Mackenzie Bolen. "He was the key to us winning."
