Holy City Herons starter Aaron Ellicott turned in a top-notch performance against the Niagara Falls Expos at Waterfall Park. The result was a win for the Herons, 6-0. In 6.1 innings, Ellicott surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. Simon Crosby was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save.

Holy City used a well-timed hit by Jesús Soto to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Herons ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Soto. "And not try to do too much."
