|
In a well-pitched game between the Alaskan Bush Pilots and the Niagara Falls Expos, pitcher Chuck Franz was fantastic. The Alaskan left-hander helped his team secure the win, 2-0. Alaskan has now won 3 straight, while the Expos have lost 3 in a row.
Franz, a native of Brooklyn, New York, was dealing all game. He kept Niagara Falls hitters off-balance, while giving the Bush Pilots 6.1 quality innings. Franz threw 96 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 10.
