Bouman Now 2-1 After Subduing Expos
|
Irving Bouman was superb against Niagara Falls. The right-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the 3A with a 0.74 WHIP, had a circle change that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Vibes victory. The score was 1-0. Bobby Vaughn finished the game for Rocky Mountain and earned his 5th save. Rocky Mountain bumps their record to 9-11 with the win.
Bouman ran roughshod over the Niagara Falls lineup. The right-hander allowed just 2 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 13. With the victory, he goes to 2-1 on the season.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Niagara Falls manager Mackenzie Bolen, "let me know."
