|
In a tight contest at Imps Park, the Ithaca Fighting Imps edged the St. Petersburg Thunder by the score of 4-3. Ithaca designated hitter Richard Oliver, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Emery Kehler nailed down his 17th save. The losing skid has reached 6 games for St. Petersburg.
Oliver had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh, when he got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run. The Fighting Imps went on to win.
