Mercer Island rode a decent outing from starter Sixto Espinosa to victory over the Minnesota Loons. The final score was 7-3. Aaron Houghton collected his 3rd save. Mercer Island currently is in third place in the Premier AA at 41-28.

Koen Weegerink hit a 2-run home run off Sidney Jones in the bottom of the first, which put the Screaming Eagles ahead, 2-0. In addition to the homer, Weegerink had 1 double, while going 2 for 5.
