The home crowd had a good time watching the Billings Polar Bears and Minnesota Loons get after it.

The exploits of left fielder Rodrigo Rodríguez, who is tied for 2nd in the PAA in triples with 4, helped the Minnesota Loons defeat the Billings Polar Bears, 9-2. Rodríguez was 2-3 with 2 triples and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The win makes Minnesota 32-25.

With Minnesota leading 4-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Rodríguez hit a fastball from Stanley Curtiss for a bases-clearing triple. It was his 4th triple of the season and put the Loons ahead, 7-1.

"Things went our way," said Rodríguez.
