|
Northville Eclipse starter Andy Roberson pitched a strong game against the Asheville Highlanders at Old-Timers Park, leading the Eclipse to victory, 2-1. Roberson, now 5-4, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Wei-qian Wang collected his 2nd save.
Ogai Ine helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 1-0, Eclipse.
"We've got great fans," said Roberson. "I hope they got what they came for."
The 6th-place Eclipse raised their record to 28-26.
