Porter reaches base 3 times in Fighting Imps Win
Fighting Imps center fielder Marc Porter put his stamp on his team's 9-3 win over the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles. Porter went 2-2 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for Ithaca in the contest. Ithaca starter Naveed Firdausi was credited with the win after throwing 105 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 3-3. The Fighting Imps move to 17-28 with the win, while the Screaming Eagles drop to 24-21.
