Highlanders Squelch Thunder Offense in Shutout Win
The Asheville Highlanders picked up a win at Asheville Park, knocking off the St. Petersburg Thunder, 4-0. Starting pitcher Tomás Silva was a big reason why. The victory puts Asheville at 11-20.

The Highlanders got a big at-bat from left fielder Joahan Urdiales. For the game, Urdiales went 1 for 3 with a home run. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Asheville a 1-0 lead.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Urdiales.
