The Minnesota Loons topped the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 6-0, with youngster Will Robertson playing a key role. Robertson was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Loons in the win. Minnesota reliever Hemolekekeakua Makaalohi was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Francisco Encarnación. The victory gives Minnesota a record of 17-14.
With Minnesota leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Robertson hit a forkball from Francisco Encarnación for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Loons ahead, 3-0.
