In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.

The Billings Polar Bears powered past the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 9-3, at The Igloo. Steve Edwards was 2 for 2 with a double and 2 walks, to lead the charge. Billings pitcher Tommy Adams got the win, upping his record to 1-1. Shigetoki Kato got the loss.

Helping the Billings cause was Zi-yang Pi. In the bottom of the fourth, the 18-year old second baseman had a run-scoring walk to make the score 3-1, Polar Bears.

"If we keep hitting the ball well, the wins will pile up," said Billings skipper Steve Ferguson.

The 7th-place Polar Bears raised their record to 12-15.
