Vibes Losing Streak at 5 After Extra-Inning Loss to Tula
|
The Chicago Tula picked up a win at Bellevue Field, knocking off the Rocky Mountain Vibes, 3-1. On the mound for Chicago was left-hander Gilberto Espinoza, who played a pivotal role in the win. The loss puts Rocky Mountain at 1-7.
Chicago used the timely hitting of José Bazaldua to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Tula on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
In postgame remarks, Espinoza simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
