With first baseman Ben Crosby leading the charge, the Niagara Falls Expos defeated the Mancelona Torch, 11-1, at Torch Field. Crosby, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2054 draft, hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 7. Chester Butt got the win, improving to 1-1. He held the Torch to no runs on 4 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 10 and walking 2. Niagara Falls is now 3-4.
In the top of the first of a scoreless game, Crosby hit a 3-run home run to put his team ahead.
"It feels good to get this one," Crosby told the Niagara Falls Herald.
