Loons Suffer 4-1 Setback
The Minnesota Loons got a superb performance from pitcher Sidney Jones. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Ithaca. The Fighting Imps won the game, 4-1. Jones threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Emery Kehler finished the game for Ithaca and earned his 4th save. The loss lowers the Minnesota record to 7-8.

Ithaca used the clutch hitting of Javier Blanco to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Fighting Imps the lead, 2-1. For the game, Blanco had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Blanco told the Ithaca Citizen.
