Eclipse Score 6-1 Win Against St. Petersburg
|
Northville Eclipse starter Andy Roberson turned in an exceptional performance against the St. Petersburg Thunder at Old-Timers Park, resulting in a Northville win, 6-1. The Thunder drop to 5-8 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2055 season.
The Eclipse got a big at-bat from designated hitter Ogai Ine. For the game, Ine was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Northville a 3-1 lead.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Ine told the Northville Daily News. "It's as simple as that."
