Cangrejos Fantasmas Shut Out Thunder Hawks, 5-0
The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas topped the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 5-0, in USSL Double A action at Ghost Crab Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Chesapeake pitcher Maurice Richards. Richards, now 10-2, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 4, walking 3, and allowing no runs. The Cangrejos Fantasmas have an impressive 63-28 record.

The Cangrejos Fantasmas got a big at-bat from left fielder Sammy Baldwin. For the game, Baldwin went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Chesapeake a 2-0 lead.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Richards. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
