The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas eked out a 3-2 win versus the Gulf Coast Turbeaus at Mobile Home Park. Nobody did more than right fielder William Green. He was terrific. Chesapeake is now 51-22, 4½ games up in the Silver AA.
Amos Burton, the 23-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Burton contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh inning to put Chesapeake up, 3-0.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Chesapeake manager Jorge Baca.
