Toledo laid the wood on Squirrel Hill at Toledo Backyard Park.

The Toledo Saboteurs cruised to a win over the Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 17-3, at Toledo Backyard Park. Arturo Mendoza led the way, going 3-for-4 for Toledo. Eric Morris, the winning pitcher, improved to 3-9. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 3 hits and no runs, while striking out 7 and walking 1.

Alejandro Rivera, who is tied for 7th in the SAA with a .520 slugging percentage, contributed to the Toledo win with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the catcher had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 2 runs scored, and 5 runs batted in.

"We got our butts kicked," said Squirrel Hill manager Carlos Soto.
