Valentín Dominant in Thunder Hawks Victory
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks topped the Tacoma Fur Traders, 2-1, in USSL Double A action at Ballpark of Tacoma. The game was highlighted by the performance of Ft. Polk South pitcher Vicente Valentín. The third-place Thunder Hawks have a record of 38-32.

Valentín, the winner, is now 3-4. In 7.1 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 1 hit, while collecting 5 Ks. He essentially shut down the Tacoma offense.

"We scored one run," said Tacoma manager Gil Schmidt. "You're not gonna get a lot of Ws scoring just one run."
