Fat Cats Defeat Thunder Hawks, 4-2
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks got a superb performance from pitcher Greg Lovell. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Ottawa. The Fat Cats won the game, 4-2. Lovell threw 6.2 innings allowing 3 runs. Hui Loh sewed up the save, his 6th. The victory puts Ottawa at 20-29.

Joe Wilson helped out the Ottawa cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 3.

Wilson told a Ottawa Gazette reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
