A good performance from shortstop Delano Bloemheuvel helped the Yakima Hops defeat the Toledo Saboteurs, 7-5. Bloemheuvel went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Hops. The Hops improved to a lofty 27-10.

Giuseppe Jacq, the 23-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Jacq contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Yakima up, 4-3.
