Ft. Polk South right fielder Andrew Brown contributed to his team's 7-2 win over the Tacoma Fur Traders. Brown, who is tied for 9th in the SAA in stolen bases with 3, went 2 for 3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Thunder Hawks. The winning pitcher was Héctor García. He's now 2-1. He went 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits for the Thunder Hawks. The 4th-place Thunder Hawks have won 5 straight games.

Norberto Carrillo dealt the Fur Traders a blow in the top of the fourth. Batting with the bases loaded and Ft. Polk South leading 4-1, Carrillo, who is tied for 2nd in the SAA in RBI with 32, hit a first pitch changeup for a 2-run single.
