Blues Fall to Sixshooters, 6-4
|
In the 6-4 Westwood win over Barton Springs, the impact of Quincy Wright was substantial. Wright went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Blues, at 41-50, have lost 4 straight games.
Westwood took a 4-2 lead on Elliott Hamilton's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Hamilton hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Barton Springs pitcher Leon Mannini visibly frustrated.
"You win some, you lose some. I don't get too caught up in all that," said Hamilton.
