Lancaster got a first-rate effort from pitcher Joe Gunn, who frustrated Barton Springs hitters en route to a 2-0 Farmers triumph at Blues Field. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Farmers.

Gunn, who leaned on his fastball, allowed no runs on just 3 hits over 7 innings for the Farmers. For the most part, Barton Springs hitters were simply overmatched.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Gunn told the Lancaster Herald.
