Guinea Pigs Suffer 6-0 Loss to Ogres
|
Gwinnett had no answer for Olympia Ogres starter Ronald Reynolds, who flummoxed Guinea Pigs hitters as the Ogres cruised to victory, 6-0. Josh Barnette picked up the save, his 1st. The win gives Olympia a season record of 48-35.
Ricardo Villanueva had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the seventh for Olympia. He came through with a 2-run single to put Olympia in front, 4-0.
"I thought we played a nice game," Reynolds told the Olympia Daily. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
