The Nuevo Mexico Mariachis picked up a win at Virginia Beach Grounds, courtesy of Mark Weston. The right-hander helped his team stop the Virginia Beach Whales, 3-1. The Mariachis sit in second place in the Menard's AA with a record of 50-28.

Weston was effective against the Whales, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Virginia Beach to just 1 run on 3 hits over 8 innings.
