Rails Best Blues in Pitching Duel
|
The Barton Springs Blues went down to defeat to James Ellison and his Richland teammates. The final score was 1-0 in favor of the Rails. The Rails bumped their record to 38-36 with this latest triumph.
Richland took a 1-0 lead on Ken Woods's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run came off Barton Springs pitcher Jeremy Dean in the bottom of the seventh.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Barton Springs skipper Joe Kehoe.
