The Virginia Beach Whales downed the Lancaster Farmers, 7-5, at Virginia Beach Grounds. Keith Cashman led the way, going 3-for-4 for Virginia Beach. At 32-30, the Whales find themselves in 5th place in the Menard's AA.

In the first inning, Cashman had a 2-run home run for Virginia Beach. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Whales on top, 2-0.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Cashman, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
