The Nuevo Mexico Mariachis topped the Richland Rails, 3-2, in M3L Double A action at Mariachi Band Shell. The game was highlighted by the performance of Nuevo Mexico pitcher Albert Wallace. The save went to Carlos Romero, number 15 for him. The third-place Mariachis have won 4 straight.

Nuevo Mexico took a 3-2 lead on António García's 13th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which García hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Richland pitcher Karsten Lips visibly frustrated.

"We were in it," said Richland manager Eduardo Hernández. "We just didn't score enough runs."
