Rails Top Gwinnett, 6-5
|
Richland Rails starter Timo Reinhardt turned in a workmanlike performance against the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs at Experimental Stadium. With the win over Gwinnett, the Rails improved to 23-19.
The most important at-bat for Richland came in the top of the 17th inning, when third baseman Willie Davidson stroked a 2-1 fastball to center for a run-scoring single, putting Richland up, 6-5.
"Our team showed some resilience," said Davidson.
