Perkins, Sixshooters Get 4-0 Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Virginia Beach Whales and Westwood Sixshooters get after it.

Westwood Sixshooters starter Wesley Perkins turned in a top-notch performance against the Virginia Beach Whales at Sixshooters Stadium. The result was a win for the Sixshooters, 4-0. The 'W' lifts Westwood's record to 12-16.

The Sixshooters liked what they saw from Perkins. The 22-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Whales to no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 7.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Perkins said after the game.
