Beat Goes On for Farmers, Win 6-3 Over Dolphins
|
Dakila Marbibi was a vital contributor to the 6-3 Lancaster victory over Pine Island. The Farmers third baseman was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Lancaster reliever Ernst Ayotte was the winner. His record is now 1-2. The losing pitcher was Soh Oike. Getting the save was Juan Castro, his 3rd.
Marbibi had a timely hit for Lancaster in the bottom of the sixth. With Pine Island trailing 3-2, he turned a first pitch circle change into a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 6-3, Lancaster.
"Winning never gets dull," said Marbibi.
The Farmers, at 13-12, have now won 7 straight.
