Farmers Deal Blues 6-5 Defeat

Both teams had their chances, but the Lancaster Farmers eventually prevailed.
Cal Weber made an impact in the 6-5 Lancaster win over Barton Springs. Weber, who is tied for 8th in the 3AA in triples with 1, went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Juan Castro earned save number 1 this season.
With Lancaster leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Weber hit a cutter from Bob Craig for a bases-clearing double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Farmers ahead, 4-0.
"Enjoyed this one," Weber told the Lancaster Herald. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
The Blues fall to 8-12 and continue their uneven start to the 2055 season.
