Floundering Farmers Lose 7th Straight
|
Casper picked up a win at The Graveyard, toppling the Lancaster Farmers, 4-3. Pitcher John Bunch was one of the reasons the Ghosts triumphed. Casper reliever Corbin Dundee was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Daniel Snyder took the loss. Tom Evans got credit for the save for Casper. It was his 3rd of the year.
Helping the Casper cause was Saul Goodman. In the bottom of the second, the 24-year old first baseman had a run-scoring walk to make the score 2-0, Ghosts.
"We had the game right there for the taking," said Lancaster manager Dave Davis. "But we decided not to take it."
For the Farmers, the loss makes their record 6-12.
