The Hollywood Shredders did just enough to sneak past the Dayton Dirty Reds, 4-3, at The Hollywood Bowl. Hollywood pitcher Steve Crabtree, in particular, had a standout performance. The third-place Shredders go to 50-37.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Hollywood trailing 3-2, Andy Gould jumped on a 1-2 fastball from Peter O'Farrell for a 2-run home run, sending the Shredders to a walk-off win.

"This place was rockin'," said Crabtree.
