Nova Scotia Leviathan starter Roberto Chaumond was in fine form against the Las Vegas Flamingos at The Strip, leading his team to a win, 2-1. Nova Scotia is second in the Third League with a record of 43-28.
The result might have been different for Nova Scotia, had it not been for Daniel Marley. The right fielder produced a run-scoring double in the top of the 13th inning to put the Leviathan ahead, 2-1. For the game, Marley had 1 double and 2 singles in 6 at-bats.
"If we play well, we'll win our share of games," said Chaumond. "The only team that can beat us is us."
