Shredders Earn 6-5 Win Versus Northern Lions BC
The Hollywood Shredders overcame a good performance by Thunder Bay catcher Ricardo Flores to knock off Thunder Bay, 6-5, at The Hollywood Bowl. Flores went 3-4 with a triple and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Hollywood is 5th in the Third League with a record of 32-31.

The Shredders got a big boost from center fielder Jesús González who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the eighth inning off Northern Lions BC hurler Tan Reijssen. It was his 7th walk of the season and put Hollywood on top, 6-5.

"It was our day today," González told the Hollywood Times. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
