The Buckhead Bowties and Charleston Battery were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Charleston center fielder Lang Ouyang had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Buckhead Bowties, 8-5. The win belongs to Barry van den Hombergh in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Mark Garland took the loss for Buckhead.

Ouyang had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-0 fastball from Mark Garland, he banged a run-scoring double to right, giving the Battery a 6-5 lead. It was the 11th double of the year for Ouyang.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Charleston manager Don Lookingbill.

The last-place Bowties have dropped 5 straight games.
