Charleston Battery starter Hunter Stinson was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Buckhead Bowties, 6-1. The Battery, at 29-32, sit in 7th place in the Third League.

Rolf Pauw took Matt Howe deep in the bottom of the third. His 3-run home run put the Battery on top, 3-0. In all, Pauw had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.

"I got in a good groove," said Stinson. "I was getting some swings and misses."
