Leviathan Lose to Dirty Reds, 4-2
The Dayton Dirty Reds downed the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 4-2, at The Dungeon in Halifax. Elliot Banks led the way, going 1-for-2 for Dayton. Dayton pitcher Alonso Salazar got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Ben Frazier got the loss. Peter O'Farrell closed it out for his 10th save.

Had Étienne Duchesne not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Duchesne hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Dirty Reds.

Nova Scotia manager Tyler Studebaker said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.

The Dirty Reds go to 19-27, putting them 10th in the Third League.
