Simha Homers Twice in 8-4 Blitzkrieg Win
A 4-RBI performance from third baseman Balanatha Simha, who is tied for 8th in the SAAA in RBI with 49, led the Port Huron Blitzkrieg to a win over the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds, 8-4. Wop Letroit, the winning pitcher, improved to 6-10. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 5 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 4. Cristo Sánchez recorded the save for Port Huron, his 2nd of the season.

With Port Huron leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Simha hit a cutter from Dave Roberts for a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Blitzkrieg ahead, 5-0.

"Glad to go home with a win," said Simha.

The last-place Fighting Dachshunds have lost 8 consecutive games.
