Morse Plays Big Role in Hamilton Win
|
The Hamilton Thunderbirds beat the Alaskan Humpbacks, 3-2. Hamilton pitcher and Somerset, Kentucky, native Ethan Morse led the way. Hamilton is now 44-52, Alaskan 56-40.
Morse threw well for Hamilton, thwarting the Alaskan offense. The right-hander tossed 111 pitches over 8 innings. He allowed just 2 runs on 3 hits.
After the game, Hamilton manager Roy Clay applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
