Behind Rosado, Humpbacks Beat Thunderbirds, 3-0
|
The Hamilton Thunderbirds and Alaskan Humpbacks were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
In a low-scoring affair between the Alaskan Humpbacks and the Hamilton Thunderbirds, pitcher Alejandro Rosado was the difference between victory and defeat. The Alaskan right-hander earned accolades in the 3-0 Humpbacks win. Carlos Churen closed it out for his 3rd save.
Rosado made it look easy. He scattered 4 hits over 8 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 8-4.
"It was a good effort all around," said Rosado.
Alaskan now owns a record of 56-39.
