Rainbeaus Stick ParksNRec with 3-0 Loss

The Kansas Rainbeaus went home winners at Wichita Field, thanks in large part to starter Cenek Stensel. Stensel stifled the Pawnee ParksNRec, enabling Kansas to grab the 3-0 win. Stensel went 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 4, and struck out 8. His record improves to 4-7. Ron Canseco earned the save for Kansas, his 3rd.
Sergio Poston drew 1 walk for Kansas. The 25-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Luis Castillo. It was his 23rd RBI of the season.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Kansas manager Will Thomas said.
With the win, the Rainbeaus have a record of 39-52.
