Lamoncha Shines in 4-2 Norfolk Win
The Norfolk Pajaritos dealt the Hamilton Thunderbirds a 4-2 loss at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. Felipe Lamoncha was the star on offense. He was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Dan Watson picked up the win with 6.1 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits, while walking 5 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 7-2. Wing-chiu Che picked up the save for Norfolk, his 4th of the year.

With Norfolk leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Lamoncha hit a fastball from Sixto Reyes for a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Pajaritos ahead, 3-0.

"I like seeing our guys get a return on what they've put in," said Norfolk manager Phil Baker.
