Norfolk Beats Hamilton, 2-1

The Norfolk Pajaritos got a magnificent performance from pitcher Chris Small, who muffled the Hamilton offense en route to a tight 2-1 Pajaritos win at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. The winning pitcher was Small, now 7-4. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 2. Jorge Cabral recorded the save for Norfolk, his 3rd of the season.
Norfolk used a well-timed hit by Harry Hiseler to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Pajaritos ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Hamilton manager Roy Clay said following the tough loss.
Norfolk is now 45-34, Hamilton 36-43.
